Pollo Rampante

Da der har floreret flere forskellige forslag til hvad de tre farver øverst i Pollo Rampante logo'et betyder har jeg spurgt selveste mr. Voodoo himself: Bob Krueger. Flinker fyr i øvrigt. Her er hans svar:

Well, you may have noticed that Team Voodoo's logo is, uh, somewhat derivative. Since I have been a fan of Ferraris for the last 50 years, it's more than a little similar, in other words, to the Ferrari \"scuderia\" badge that has appeared on their racing cars since Francesco Baracca's mother supposedly asked Enzo Ferrari to use her son's \"cavallino rampante\" logo on his race cars after winning the 1923 Ravenna race in an Alfa Romeo. Enzo later went on to run the pre-war Alfa Romeo racing team as Scuderia Ferrari, and then, of course, his own Ferrari racing teams, and used this logo for both. At the top of Ferrari's \"cavallino rampante\" logos (both the triangular racing and rectangular road car ones) is a tricolor of green, white, and red - the colors of Italy's flag. Team Voodoo being an American company, the red, white, and blue stripes at the top of the Team Voodoo logo represent the flag of the United States of America.

Hehe det læste jeg faktisk også om igår i min Miata bog. I afsnittet omkring hvilke farver de først lancerede, og hvorfor det blev de farver, stod der at de blev taget ret godt imod på det amerikanske marked og at det sjovt nok også var lige netop farverne i det amerikanske flag.

Men det havde da været sjovere hvis han havde valgt de 3 farver fordi det var introduktionsfarverne til Miata'en
